HOUSTON -- Today becomes tomorrow after the TCIL state baseball tournament was rained out entirely Friday.
Friday's original schedule now becomes Saturday's slate, then Saturday's original schedule will be played as Sunday's windup day of action in the meet at Houston St. Pius.
Central Catholic, which lots its opener by 3-2 to Houston St. Thomas, fights for survival in the double elimination meet at 8:30 p.m. Saturday against the loser of the St. Thomas-Dallas Bishop Dunne game Saturday afternoon.
In the Class AA division, Fredericksburg St. Mary's plays Laredo St. Joseph's at 1 p.m. after a 10:30 a.m. opener matching Houston St. Pius and Victoria St. Joseph. At 6 p.m. Waco Reicher meets the 10:30 winner.
