Rain forced cancellation of the state Southwest Academic League baseball tournament slated for Austin Friday and Saturday and plans were made to determine co-champions.
St. Edward's will meet St. Anthony's of San Antonio for the championship of District 1 and District 2 while Sacred Heart of Muenster will face Boys Ranch of Bedford for the north zone title.
The winners of the playoff will then be crowned co-champions of the state. St. Edward's, which won the District 2 title, will tangle with St. Anthony's Wednesday in the Alamo City while the north zone championship is due to be decided on Wednesday also.
