SAN MARCOS, Nov. 7 -- The San Marcos Baptist Academy Cubs, coached by N.O. Pope, and ranking third in the Southwest Academic League, will play their third loop battle Saturday in San Antonio against St. Anthony College.
In the conference, the Cubs have defeated Peacock Military Academy and lost to the Texas Military Academy. St. Anthony has won from Peacock and Central Catholic High School of San Antonio.
The Cub lineup probably will be: Garland Unter, qb; Mack Herring and Jack Byrd, hb; Bob Huweiler, f; "Freck" Williams and Bill Tochterman, e; "Bull" Lisman and Martin Eckhardt, t; Herbert Ruiz and Thurman Gray, g' and Jack Connally, c.
