Dallas, Tex. -- The Jesuit Eagles fired a 330 team total to finish in third place after the first round of the Texas Catholic Interscholastic League State golf tournament held here Thursday. Dallas Jesuit holds the No. 1 spot with a 304 while St. Thomas is second with 324.
Final round of the two-day event is scheduled for 8 a.m. Friday.
Members of the Jesuit team consist of Tim Crowley, David Petty, Mike Kennedy, Ed Martinez and Mike Burton.
Kennedy was the hot man Friday firing an 80 over the 18 hole course while Burton was second with 82.
