HOUSTON - T.K. Gorman's Marc Long fired a two-day total of 176 to win medalist honors at the Class AAA Texas Christian Interscholastic League (TCIL) State Golf Tournament this past week at Quail Valley Golf Coure.
Gorman's team, with a score of 894, placed fifth in the event.
Long recorded 88 in each round.
Members of the TKG golf team are Long, Joe Coperland, John McCubbin, Pat Maloney, and Kelly Sepulvado.
Beaumont Kelly won the team title.
