AUSTIN - Austin St. Edward's shot a 337 team total Friday to edge defending champion Dallas Jesuit by three strokes and capture the TCIL golf championship.
Dallas Bishop Dunne was second with 339. Jesuit had 340, Central Catholic 349, Houston St. Thomas 351, Houston Jesuit 356, Amarillo Alamo Catholic 365, Houston Mt. Carmel 370, La Salle 379, Schulenburg Bishop Forest 399 and Port Arthur Bishop Byrne 400.
George Machak of St. Edward's was the medalist with a 71.
